Chemistry of Keeping Your Home Comfortable

Insulation in our homes and offices has gone high tech thanks to innovations in chemistry, and spray polyurethane foam insulation is becoming more common in construction and remodeling.

Spray polyurethane foam insulation systems consist of two different liquids that are combined together during installation to form foam. The foam is sprayed onto ceilings and walls and then it expands up to 10 times its original volume to fill cavities, gaps, and cracks. SPF provides excellent thermal performance and its unique application method helps to prevent air leaks and keep your house comfortable and at the desired temperature.

Modern insulation materials like spray polyurethane foam are increasing energy efficiency in buildings, making it 20-40 percent more efficient than some traditional or fibrous insulation materials.
