Because chemistry is a fundamental building block for nearly all manufactured goods, chemical regulation is an issue that is important to all Americans.
ReformTSCA.com is dedicated to the bipartisan agreement forged between Sens. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) and David Vitter (R-LA), along with more than a dozen Senate Democrat and Republican co-sponsors, to update our nation’s primary chemical safety law, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
The historic legislation, known as the Chemical Safety Improvement Act (CSIA), considers the interests of all stakeholders and creates common ground that meets their needs. When passed, the bill will enhance the safety of American families while also promoting innovation, economic growth, and job creation by American manufacturers.
ACC and its members, along with a coalition of trade associations representing a broad spectrum of the economy, urge Congress to seize the opportunity to pass this important legislation.
